I was talking on the phone with my Mom this evening - she’s planning on moving to the Branson area in a year or two, so she was looking at realestate online. Apparently, Disney has said it’s “coming to Branson”. They didn’t say when, or in what capacity, just that they’re coming. My first thought was “well, in the west it’s Disneyland, in the east it’s Disneyworld. Maybe in Missouri it’ll be Disneyholler”. What do you think? I think it has a ring to it…hehe
Yay! Tomorrow (6/9) we’re going on a week long vacation! We’re heading down to Eminence, Missouri on the Jack’s Fork river for a week of trail riding on our horses…and we’re going without the kids (they’re staying with Grandma and Grandpa).
Normally, I wouldn’t broad cast the fact that we were not going to be at home for a week, but given that people have trouble finding my house even with directions, I’m not to worried.
We’re going to Cross Country Trail Ride if anyone is curious.
Our priest brought our son an article from the newspaper about this 11 year old kid that shot a 1000+ pound wild boar in Alabama, with a frickin’ pistol. Granted, it was a .50 cal pistol, but I’m not sure I’d want to get close enough to a monster like to shoot it with a hand gun.
